Rooted in Community, Driven by Art

We’ve been part of Mott Haven’s transformation from industrial neighborhood to creative hub. We’ve watched this community grow, and we’ve grown with it.

Our walls showcase the work of artists who live, work, and create right here in the South Bronx. We’re not trying to be Manhattan. We’re celebrating what makes Mott Haven authentic: its grit, its creativity, and its tight-knit community spirit.

You’ll find us supporting local talent through monthly exhibitions, artist spotlights, and community events that bring neighbors together. Because great art happens when creative people have space to connect and grow.

That said, we’re also a community gathering space, so noise levels can vary depending on events and busy periods. Most people find the gentle buzz of art-focused conversation more inspiring than distracting, but it’s worth noting if you need absolute quiet for your work.

We provide professional exhibition space to emerging and established local artists at no upfront cost, taking a small commission only when pieces sell. This removes financial barriers that prevent many talented artists from showing their work professionally.

Beyond exhibition opportunities, we host educational events, artist spotlights, and community discussions that help build audience for local creators. Many artists report making valuable connections through our events, both with potential collectors and other artists.

We also prioritize artists who live or work in Mott Haven and surrounding South Bronx neighborhoods, ensuring our exhibitions truly reflect the creative energy of our immediate community. This isn’t about charity – it’s about recognizing and celebrating the incredible talent that already exists right here.
